In August 2008, we appealed to the Nevada Supreme Court from a jury verdict awarding $33 million for breach of an oral contract regarding the development of land. The court completely reversed the award. Instead of simply vacating the judgment and remanding for a new trial, moreover, the court ruled that no liability could lie against our client as a matter of law. The William Peccole 1982 Trust v.
