About Franchesca Van Buren
Ms. Van Buren is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Sports and Entertainment practice groups. She represents major sports promoters including Zuffa, LLC d/b/a The Ultimate Fighting Championship, WEC Holding, LLC d/b/a World Extreme Cagefighting and Top Rank, Inc. Ms. Van Buren also represents a major casino show promoter, a prominent restaurateur and various high-profile developers and other real estate industry clients.
Ms. Van Buren was previously with Beckley Singleton, which partnered with Lewis and Roca in 2007. While attending law school on a full academic scholarship for all three years, Ms. Van Buren dealt with California state and federal employment law matters as a member of the Workers’ Rights Clinic and as a law clerk at an employment law firm located in San Francisco, California. Additionally, as a law clerk for the Just Cause Law Collective and Protection & Advocacy, she worked on a variety of constitutional and civil rights matters including Sixth Amendment Confrontation Clause interpretation, sex-based discrimination, civil disobedience and disability rights. Ms. Van Buren also held a position as a law clerk for Beckley Singleton.
