About Franchesca Van Buren

Ms. Van Buren is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Sports and Entertainment practice groups. Ms. Van Buren’s practice consists primarily of high-stakes, high profile business disputes. She has experience litigating complex commercial matters on behalf of clients in such diverse industries as hospitality, sports & entertainment, gaming, real estate and construction.

Ms. Van Buren also has experience litigating international disputes involving non-U.S. based parties and Hague Convention issues.

As part of her sports and entertainment practice Ms. Van Buren has represented major sports promoters including Zuffa, LLC d/b/a The Ultimate Fighting Championship and Top Rank, Inc.

Ms. Van Buren has been recognized on multiple occasions by the Clark County Bar Association and the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada at their annual Pro Bono Awards Luncheon. She was included in the 2009 edition of Legal Elite, published by Nevada Business, in the "Best Up and Coming Attorney" section and included in the 2010 edition of Rising Stars, published by the Las Vegas Business Press. She was also included in the 2010 edition of Mountain States Rising Stars in the category of Entertainment & Sports. Ms. Van Buren received a full academic scholarship to attend the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall).
