About Quinton Singleton

Mr. Singleton is an associate in the firm's Antitrust and Trade Regulation, Corporate and Securities, Gaming, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Taxation practice groups. His practice focuses on corporate law including entity formation and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, securities (private and public offerings), antitrust, corporate transactions, and tax matters. His gaming practice focuses on land-based casinos and hotels, sports betting, Internet gaming, regulatory and licensing matters, sweepstakes, and contests.

Additionally, Mr. Singleton is a Certified Public Accountant and specialized in International Finance while studying for his M.B.A. in Global Management. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Singleton was a Senior Auditor with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (a “Big Four” international accounting firm), providing public accounting services to publicly traded and private companies in the gaming and hospitality, biotech, and industrial chemical industries.

While attending law school, Mr. Singleton was an extern for the Honorable Elizabeth Gonzalez at the Eighth Judicial Court in Clark County, Nevada. His externship focused on Business Court cases including complex commercial litigation and corporate disputes. He also externed with the Nevada Attorney General's Office in the Litigation Division where he worked directly with Senior Deputy Attorneys General focusing on government eminent domain takings, constitutional rights, and civil rights litigation.

Other Distinctions

Mr. Singleton was recognized by the Clark County Bar Association and the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada during the ninth annual Pro Bono Awards Luncheon held on December 11, 2009. He appeared on the 2009 Attorney Honor Roll for his more than 200 hours of Pro Bono service.

In addition, Mr. Singleton was the recipient of the Certificate of Commendation from Senator Harry Reid and the recipient of Congressional Recognition from Congresswoman Shelley Berkley, both in December of 2009. He also received the John P. Frank award for outstanding pro bono service in 2009.

Mr. Singleton earned CALI Awards (highest grade) in his law school courses for Gaming Policy, Nevada Civil Practice, and Torts. While studying for his B.S. in Business Administration, Mr. Singleton made the National Dean's List (top 0.5% of U.S. students), UNLV Dean's Honors List and Accounting Department Honors List; in addition he was inducted into the Golden Key national honor society and Beta Alpha Psi.
