About Thomas Morgan
Mr. Morgan, a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Securities group, practices in the areas of securities, corporate and tax law with emphasis in public and private securities offerings, private equity fundings, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, commercial transactions and general tax planning.
Mr. Morgan represents both companies and investment firms in the issuance of equity and debt securities, structuring investment funds, structuring joint ventures and private equity investments and ongoing compliance matters. He also represents buyers and sellers in stock and asset acquisitions, including acquisitions involving security law compliance. He has advised several closely held companies on a variety of governance, tax and general commercial issues and has advised start-up and operating companies in structuring joint ventures and in offering equity and debt securities.
While in law school, Mr. Morgan was a Note Editor for the University of Oklahoma Law Review and was elected to Order of the Coif. Mr. Morgan was awarded the Arthur Andersen Scholarship while obtaining his advanced legal degree at New York University. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Oklahoma.
