About Alan Christenson
Mr. Christenson is an associate in the firm’s Trusts and Estates practice group. He has experience in preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. His practice focuses on helping clients incorporate unique objectives and valuable tax-planning strategies into their estate plans.
While in law school, Mr. Christenson was a senior editor for the BYU Law Review. He also served as an intern for Justice Ronald Nehring in the Utah Supreme Court and Judge Claudia Laycock in the Utah 4th District Court.
After law school, Mr. Christenson gained international legal experience while serving as an intern for J.P. O’Farrell Abogados in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Mr. Christenson has served in various roles in the community, ranging from volunteering with a local non-profit law firm, serving as a leader and participant of the BYU Jail Outreach Program, and spending two summers volunteering for the Utah Symphony and Opera’s Deer Valley Music Festival.
Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Christenson worked as a financial analyst for the investments department of a large regional bank.
