About Sivan Korn

Ms. Korn is a partner in the firm’s Tucson office and a member of the Litigation Practice Group. She focuses her practice on complex business litigation and represents clients in all stages of litigation, including briefing and arguing appellate cases. Ms. Korn's practice and experience include antitrust litigation, antitrust compliance counseling and intellectual property litigation.

Prior to joining Lewis and Roca, Ms. Korn was a litigation associate with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, LLP, New York, where she concentrated her practice on patent and antitrust litigation, and at Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider, LLP, New York, where she focused on complex antitrust litigation and antitrust merger counseling.

Representative Cases/Matters

  • Defending owners of a high-tech mine management software company against claims of trade secret misappropriation and alleged breaches of non-compete and confidentiality contract clauses brought by the dominant competitor in the field. 221 Ariz. 515, 212 P.3d 853 (Ariz. App. 2009).
  • Representing a minority shareholder in litigation involving a contest for corporate control and the attempt to force the exercise of a buy-sell agreement.
  • Defending managing members of a high-tech limited liability company against breach of fiduciary duty and mismanagement claims filed by a minority member;
  • Representing the owner of 40,000 acres of land in northern Arizona in R.S. 2477 litigation to establish public access to the property.
  • Antitrust counseling to regional Hospital regarding collaborations with local hospitals.
  • Antitrust counseling to physicians group regarding merger and information sharing with competitors.
  • Representing physicians group in litigation involving tortious interference and unfair competition claims.
  • Defending a national insurer in litigation involving former agent's claims. 
  • Member of a trial team defending international bio-sciences companies in a number of cases involving the enforcement of patent rights.
  • Participated in the defense of several international financial institutions in matters involving compliance with United States securities regulations.

Pro Bono

Ms. Korn represents holocaust survivors under Germany's Ghetto Reparations Program as part of the Bet Tzedek Holocaust Survivors Justice Network.

She was recently recognized for her commitment to pro bono service at the firm's annual John P. Frank Pro Bono Awards Luncheon.
