A History of Growth
Lewis and Roca established an office in Las Vegas in 1999 and we have grown steadily since then. In 2007 we formed a new partnership with Beckley Singleton, one of Nevada’s oldest and most respected law firms. This merger extended our multi-disciplinary reach and today our team consists of 50 lawyers ready to serve your business needs.

The practice of gaming law grows increasingly eclectic as the legal gaming community continues to evolve and proliferate across the United States and the world. Tony Cabot, the leader of our gaming practice, has played a strategic and integral role in the development of gaming laws and regulations for the past quarter century. He has authored or edited eight books on gaming law including Nevada Gaming Law, Federal Gaming Law, International Casino Law and The Internet Gambling Report. Our team of gaming lawyers represents numerous casino operators and Indian gaming groups, as well as gaming equipment suppliers, investors, investment banks and various companies doing business with the gaming industry. Our Appellate Practice
Throughout its history, Lewis and Roca has had a reputation for appellate work of the highest caliber. Lewis and Roca lawyers have successfully served as lead counsel in ten United States Supreme Court cases. The Court’s decisions have swung in our client’s favor based on the merits of the case and arguments presented. Our Las Vegas office’s appellate team is led by Dan Polsenberg - known in Nevada as the lawyer to see for a big appeal. He has personally argued over 200 appeals and has written briefs in hundreds more. The firm’s appellate unit offers our clients a comprehensive depth of understanding and experience representing clients in appeals ranging from tort to tax and constitutional to commercial law.
