Lewis and Roca, a leading business law firm in the Southwest, opened its office in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2004. Realizing the growth opportunities in the Duke City, the firm merged with Jontz Dawe Gulley & Crown to offer clients comprehensive business law services with expanded resources. The Albuquerque office of Lewis and Roca provides counseling to and representation of companies doing business with federal, state, and local governments. Our lead attorney in this practice was the initial chair of the recently created Intellectual Property Section of the State Bar of New Mexico and has been re-elected to the section for a three year term through 2013.

Our Water Law Practice
Lewis and Roca’s water law practice includes a wide range of administrative, transactional and litigation matters including research, hearings, transfers, buying and selling water rights, water rights adjudications before the office of the State Engineer and District Court, and water conservation plans. Our lead attorney in this practice has participated in over fifty cases before the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission and is in the process of applying to the New Mexico Board of Specialization for designation as a specialist in water law.

Office Directions
The Albuquerque Office of Lewis and Roca resides in the heart of the downtown financial and government district, and is located in the Albuquerque Plaza, the tallest building in New Mexico. It is 15 minutes from the airport and only minutes from Interstates 25 and 40.
From Albuquerque International Sunport Airport:
Take Sunport Blvd. SE (the only exit street), a few blocks and take a left on Girard Blvd. SE. Take I-25 North a little more than a mile and exit at Central Ave/Lead-Coal (exit #224A) to Oak Street SE. Take a left on Central NE/Route 66 (Central becomes Central NW). Cross over 1st and 2nd Streets; take a right on 3rd Street to arrive at 201 3rd Street NW.
From the North
Take Interstate-25 South towards Albuquerque. Take the Central Ave/Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave exit (#224B) and travel a little less than half a mile until the street becomes Marquette. Take left on 3rd Street from Marquette to arrive at 201 3rd Street NW.
