Lewis and Roca LLP is pleased to announce that Richard A. Halloran has been appointed Section Chair of the Litigation practice.
Halloran is a partner and trial lawyer in the firm’s Intellectual Property and Business Litigation sections. He focuses on representing businesses in patent, copyright, and other technology-focused litigation, as well as business tort and commercial litigation.
Halloran represents multi-national companies as well as smaller businesses, both as plaintiffs and defendants, in litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts. He has successfully obtained multi-million dollar results for his clients, and has successfully defended his clients against lawsuits seeking substantial recoveries.
Halloran is listed in the 2006 and 2007 editions of The Best Lawyers in America® by Woodward/White, Aiken, S.C. in the categories of Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Law.
This change in leadership comes on the heels of the announcement that litigation attorney, Dawn M. Bergin, has left the firm to accept a judicial appointment with the Maricopa County Superior Court.
Halloran received his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (1989, summa cum laude) and his B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh (1986, magna cum laude).
