Lewis and Roca is pleased to announce that the Volunteer Lawyers Program (VLP) has selected John N. Iurino, a partner in the firm’s Tucson office, as the Outstanding Pro Bono Attorney for December 2007. This award recognizes extraordinary contributions by an attorney in making legal services available to those who otherwise could not afford them. Iurino was presented this award at the VLP’s Annual Awards Luncheon on November 28, 2007.
Iurino practices in the firm's Commercial Litigation Section. He has substantial experience in civil and commercial litigation, real estate and land use litigation and appeals. He has also represented many clients on a pro bono basis. He has been elected as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
Iurino received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1980 and his B.A. from the College of William and Mary with high honors in 1976.
