The House of Representatives voted 304-117 to pass the “Leahy-Smith America Invents Act” patent reform bill on June 23. A similar bill passed the Senate on March 8 by a vote of 95-5. The next step is reconciliation, where the differences between the two bills will likely be resolved. read more
