EPCOR provides safe, high-quality water and clean wastewater solutions to customers in Arizona and New Mexico. As the largest private water utility in the Southwest, EPCOR is also committed to protecting the environment by using the latest water treatment technology.

At its White Tanks Regional Water Treatment Facility just outside of Phoenix, EPCOR works to conserve non-renewable groundwater supplies by purifying renewable Central Arizona Project (CAP) surface water that comes from the Colorado River, courtesy of the snow and rain from the Rocky Mountains. Reducing groundwater pumping helps make sure plants and animals have the water they need. It also reduces the risk of the ground sinking, which can create hazards for people and property.

The White Tanks facility disinfects CAP surface water using intense beams of ultraviolet light and computers monitor water quality every step of the way. The facility treats three billion gallons of CAP surface water each year, saving three billion gallons of groundwater and helping Arizona to meet the future goal of pumping groundwater at the same rate it is naturally replenished.

While EPCOR delivers safe, clean water to communities across the Southwest, Lewis and Roca is there to help the company navigate the industry's deep regulatory waters, ensuring that business continues to flow.
