Stay Connected - Tucson - What To Do When the Government Comes Knocking

September 17, 2009
Lewis and Roca LLP office
One South Church Avenue, Suite 700
Tucson, AZ

It's time again for another Stay Connected meeting!

Please join attorneys Abbe Goncharsky and Tom Gilson for breakfast and a discussion of the topics that affect all of us as Human Resources professionals.

During this session, we will discuss what to do when the government comes knocking on your door. Would you know how to handle an unannounced inspection from ICE, OSHA or the DOL? What documents can government officials see without a subpoena? What missteps could result in an obstruction of justice charge? What should you do in the event of a raid and how should you handle the search and seizure aspects of it? If time and interest allow, we will review common I-9 errors and discuss auditing tips. We'll close out the meeting with a Q&A period to ensure you get your HR and Employment Law queries answered. The Q&A session is not limited to this topic!

Please RSVP, space is limited!
