A History of Growth
Our roots in “The Old Pueblo” are strong and deep; we have grown since the establishment of our Tucson office in 1988. By the mid-1990s the office had expanded to a dozen lawyers, and today we have a multi-disciplinary team of 19 lawyers to serve you.

Our Real Estate Practice
In Tucson, we have a well-known and respected real estate practice. We represent clients in all types of real estate transactions for all types of properties, including purchases and sales, leases, financings and all aspects of land development. Our real estate team has experience in land use, zoning and water rights issues. Developers, owners, lenders and public entities alike rely on Lewis and Roca’s Tucson lawyers to resolve land use and environmental concerns that have direct impacts on development. Any real estate project where there is not existing water service to the property, or where access to water rights is in question, will benefit from our experience with state and local water use regulation. We are general counsel to the Metropolitan Domestic Water Improvement District, a water utility serving 75,000 people residing north of Tucson, Arizona. We were instrumental in forming the district, which today is the only water utility in Arizona that recharges its aquifer with ground water.
