David Lopez-Monroy of Beach Fleischman will present "Accounting Basics for Businesses," the fourth of seven workshops in the Entrepreneurs Initiative series.
This workshop reviews the basics of accounting and financial statements that are essential for effectively running your business and being prepared for expansion or financing opportunities.
Topics to be discussed include different accounting methods and their limitations, recordkeeping, cash management, reading simple financial statements, maintaining current financial information, and differences between employees and independent contractors.
