About Jennifer M. Anderson

Ms. Anderson is an associate in the firm's Environmental and Natural Resources practice group. She assists clients in regulatory proceedings and administrative hearings before the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission and the New Mexico Office of the State Engineer. She has also testified before the Commission on federal telecommunications law and has taught a water rights CLE to other attorneys.

Ms. Anderson's practice consists of some litigation, including appeals of agency decisions to district court and the New Mexico Supreme Court. She assists as special legal counsel to Bernalillo County on water rights issues and is a regular contributor to the firm's Natural Resources and Energy blog.

Prior to law school, Ms. Anderson worked as a legislative analyst for the New Mexico State Senate for three consecutive sessions and on various political campaigns. She also spent one year teaching English in South Korea as part of the J. William Fulbright Scholarship Program.

Ms. Anderson was a J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship recipient in 2006. While in law school, she earned CALI awards in her law school courses for Water Law, International Law and Civil Procedure I. She was the recipient of the Tonali Women's Alliance Law Scholarship in 2008 and 2009. Ms. Anderson was also a manuscript editor on the Natural Resources Journal and a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Team while attending UNM Law.
