Mr. Allen is a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group and currently serves on the firm’s governing Policy Committee. Mr. Allen’s practice focuses on intellectual property and all related federal litigation. He has extensive experience resolving intellectual property disputes concerning trademarks, patents, copyrights, trade dress, trade secrets, domain names, rights of publicity, unfair competition, deceptive trade practices or other business claims, as well as Constitutional law issues. Mr. Allen also represents clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. His clients have included numerous publicly traded media, financial, consumer electronic, transportation, telecommunications, and entertainment corporations, as well as multinational resorts, banks, manufacturing and real estate development companies.
Mr. Allen has extensive experience representing clients in disputes involving patent, copyright and trademark infringement, temporary restraining orders, and preliminary injunctions, especially those involving foreign corporations at international trade shows. Mr. Allen is an effective advocate in all forms of litigation, mediation and arbitration, where his representation has produced outstanding results for his clients involving intellectual property law and Constitutional law. Mr. Allen also provides general intellectual property law counseling; trademark and copyright prosecution, clearance, and licensing; as well as general business dispute resolution and mediation services.
